Switched to ProTherapy after working with two larger agencies and saw an immediate $400/week increase in take-home for a comparable assignment. The owners are actual PTs who traveled themselves, so they understand pay packages and tax homes in a way most recruiters don't. Compliance and credentialing were seamless. They're smaller so fewer open contracts, but the pay difference more than makes up for it. Best agency I've worked with by far.

Fusion has been my go-to for most of my career. Competitive pay and the 401k matching is a nice perk. My biggest issue is recruiter turnover — I've had 3 recruiters in 2 years. When you get a good one, the experience is excellent. Their portal is well-designed for managing documents.

Perfect for my first assignment. My recruiter walked me through everything — licensing, housing, credentialing. Day-one health insurance was huge coming off my parents' plan. Pay was good but I've heard smaller agencies pay more. For a first contract, the support was worth it.

Jackson is fine — not great, not terrible. Tons of assignments available which is their selling point. Pay is middle-of-the-road. My recruiter is responsive but clearly managing too many travelers. Housing stipends tend to run below market compared to smaller agencies.

Quoted $1,800/week during the interview. First paycheck was $1,580. "Benefits and compliance fees" never disclosed upfront. Recruiter took days to respond and couldn't explain the pay breakdown. Finished the contract and switched immediately. Always get your complete pay package in writing.

Solid mid-size agency. Pay transparency is excellent — my recruiter gives a complete written breakdown of every line item in my package. Benefits aren't as comprehensive as big agencies but higher take-home makes up for it. Done 4 contracts through Core with no compliance issues.
